Barrow Island Community Primary School

Super proud of these two participating in the Cumbria cross country championships at Sedbergh School. They both ran incredibly well and represented the school superbly! Huge congratulations to our year 5 girl who ran the course and placed 7th overall and who will be representing Cumbria this year in a national cross country competition! Also a huge congratulations to our year 4 girl who showed determination all the way through the race, even leaving her shoes behind in the mud to complete the race! Big thank you again to our sponsors of our tracksuits Barrow Island Community and Sports Trust Ltd, Barrow Island Bowling Club and Cumbria Plumbing & Heating Ltd. The children kept super warm in the tracksuits throughout the day.
